This treatment is carried out in Transfer furnaces. These furnaces have a capacity up to five tons. The temperature is kept uniform through a computer control system which regulates the cooling speed. This is the reason because of homogeneous mechanical characteristics of the whole piece are obtained.

We have at our disposal several quenching means: oil, water and polymer.
